CURRENT EVENTS: The public is invited to participate in revising the Harney County Comprehensive Plan. Below are both the existing Harney County Comprehensive Plan and the Proposed Revised Harney County Comprehensive Plan. The public is encouraged to participate in this process and should forward all comments to the Planning department at planning@co.harney.or.us, or 450 N Buena Vista, #11, Burns, OR 97720. Please note that these documents are very much subject to change during this process, and so the public should check back to the website or call/stop by the Planning Department to view any changes that happen between public meetings/hearings.

- The evidentiary hearing for the proposed technical updates before the Harney County Court was set for July 8th in the County Court Room, but it has been canceled and will be rescheduled.
